Orton-Gillingham Plus Spelling Teacher Guide (Grade 3+)

The Orton-Gillingham Plus Spelling Teacher Guide (Grade 3+) is a wonderful resource designed to support striving older students who benefit from additional explicit, sequential, and systematic phonics instruction. Because there is a more complete transfer from encoding to decoding, teachers begin by administering a spelling survey to identify potential phonological, orthographic, and morphological errors. Spelling Survey results are analyzed to determine where to begin instruction using a scope and sequence specifically designed for teaching foundational phonics skills to older students.
