It is designed to support phoneme manipulation, spelling, and word chaining activities in the Orton-Gillingham Plus Teacher Guide lessons. The kit provides opportunities for adding and removing scaffolds as students develop phoneme and word-level accuracy and automaticity. A brief video provides a model of sample instructional activities using the Word-Building Kit.
