IMSE Accreditations

IMSE is an accredited partner of the International Dyslexia Association and CERI, meaning that our IMSE Structured Literacy Professional Development programs and practicum are aligned with the Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading (KPS).

Because the IMSE Specialist Certification is an IDA Accredited Plus Program, certified educators are knowledgeable about, and can apply the principles and practices of Structured Literacy in the classroom to prevent reading failure and properly remediate off-track readers.

ASHA Renewal

Please do not send your certificate of attendance to ASHA. ASHA will notify you if you have been randomly selected for audit; only at that time will you need to submit your documentation of participation.

IMSE Certified Partners

An IMSE Certified Partner is any school district or tutorial center that has an IMSE Certified Level 4 or 5 Master Instructor on site. Accredited Partners have made a commitment to training their K-2, 3-5, and/or special education staff in IMSE’s Comprehensive and/or Intermediate Orton-Gillingham course.

IMSE Certified Partners understand the importance of implementing IMSE's program with fidelity. The best way to ensure success and fidelity of IMSE’s Orton-Gillingham is to have an IMSE Certified Level 4 or 5 Master Instructor on staff to conduct trainings, provide support, coaching, and consultations, and act as a practicum supervisor.
